Schoeller Partners with Nativa Ethically-Produced Wool

Share:

Schoeller looks to produce high-quality fabrics made with sustainable, fully-traceable wool from Nativa that comes from certified farms and provides complete transparency over the supply chain and product transformation.

Nativa wool is farmed in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, North America, Uruguay and Argentina, with animal welfare and management a top priority. Nativa’s parent company is the French combed wool specialist Chargeurs that operates Chargeurs Wool USA.

Nativa uses blockchain technology for end-to-end traceability from farm to consumer, the first global wool brand to do so, according to the company. A unique QR code is generated for each product of each brand. This code connects the Nativa Blockchain platform with the Nativa Blockchain website, allowing customers to view their wool’s journey in real time from farm to brand.

New fabrications from Schoeller include blends of Nativa wool/polyamide/elastane that are particularly well-suited for a range of softshell and all-season garments and accessories as well as fabric used as reinforcements.
