Product Spotlight: Reebok, Under Armour, FootJoy
A look at three new footwear styles catching our eye, including an athletic-inspired work shoe from Reebok and innovative styles from Under Armour and FootJoy.
Reebok’s new HIIT TR Work shoe not only has safety features but also brings elements of Reebok’s cross training shoes into the work space. The low-cut style includes a knit sock around the foot for a locked-in fit; a flexible, slip resistant rubber outsole; a mesh athletic upper; EVA foam cushioning and a memory foam cushion footbed.
Under Armour has unveiled the UA Flow Velociti Wind, a high-performance running shoe with an all-in-one cushioning system that eliminates the rubber outsole. The UA Flow midsole technology, previously seen in Stephen Curry’s signature basketball shoe, the Curry Flow 8, completely eliminates the need for a rubber outsole, reducing the shoe’s weight by approximately 2-3 ounces.
FootJoy is re-imagining the classically inspired golf shoe in its new Premier Series that utilizes ESTANE TRX TPU polymers from Lubrizol for traction on wet and dry sources and VersaTrax+ outsole technology. The Tarlow, The Packard and The Flint styles with the series will be available for purchase on March 1.
