Dovetail Workwear / Apelian Utility Fleece  

Named for survival expert Nicole Apelian, this fleece combines the best of outdoor and work outerwear. Using DoveTechWarm and DoveTechWaterResist technologies, the latter built from the world’s first plant-based water- and stain-repellent. The Apelian Utility Fleece has a nailhead pattern with blocked canvas overlays and canvas reinforcement at the elbows, shoulders and chest. It also has six deep pockets. MSRP $129.


Picture / Mohorra Jacket

Featuring a Sherpa Fleece shell fabric, the Mohorra has a quilted recycled polyester taffeta lining and recycled thermal insulation. The Streetwear piece from Euro outdoor brand Picture Organic Clothing also has chafe-free flatlock seams, a front opening with snaps and patched hand pockets. The garment is made with 100% recycled polyester. Picture Organic Clothing is a Certified B Corporation.


Patagonia / Hike Collection

Patagonia is introducing a new Hike collection of apparel for Fall 2022 that includes tights, bottoms, technical tees, baselayers, outerwear and more. Items focus on sustainable materials and inclusive demographics. The Peak Mission cold-weather tights are moisture-wicking and Fair Trade Certified sewn. The tights feature miDori bioSoft for added wicking and softness, and HeiQ Pure odor control. The PFC-free Houdini Jacket is a 100% recycled nylon, take-it-anywhere jacket with weather-resistant protection. Breathable merino t-shirts in the line are made from a blend of 65% RWS-certified merino wool and 35% recycled polyester. MSRP $129 (tights); $109 (jacket); $69 (shirt).


Nobis / Layton Tactical Hybrid Sweater

The first release from Nobis Outerwear’s Transitional 22 collection, this ultra-soft hybrid sweater is cut from Merino wool for temperature-regulating comfort. Plus, it features water-repellent ripstop at the front for reliable protection. It’s padded with Primaloft Gold Insulation Active+, a water-resistant fill with 4-way stretch that offers optimal mobility and thermal efficiency. Its ribbed funnel neck zips shut for added coverage, while magnetic closure flat pockets at the chest and hidden zippered pockets at the sides provide secure storage for valuables. MSRP $595.

This lightweight and waterproof shoe offers exceptional grip and traction for the trails. And it features a ripstop fabric upper and a seamless construction for a clean, sporty look. BIOM Technology encourages the foot to move more naturally and efficiently, and has an anatomical fit, plus a low profile. MSRP $180.


Pak-Jak / Wilderness Jacket

Built with the aim of eliminating back sweat while hiking, Pak-Jak’s Wilderness Jacket has a removable back that easily swaps out with mesh for increased breathability. The wearer also has the option of completely removing the back of the jacket. While the back is removed, the Pak-Jak still hugs the shoulders and has universal straps to connect the jacket and any existing backpack for increased stability. MSRP $279.

Bass Outdoor / Men’s Mission Field Jacket and Devils Bridge Hiking Pants

G.H. Bass Originals recently launched the new Bass Outdoor line of footwear, apparel and accessories “for getting outside.” The collection is highlighted by crossover styles that are at home on the trail or around town. The men’s Mission Field Jacket blurs the line of flannel and  jacket. It features BDry fabric technology paired with BWarm and a full sherpa fleece lining for protection against the cold. The Devils Bridge Hiking Pant features a modern fit and BDry breathable, water-resistant fabric with built-in UPF 50 sun protection. Bass Outdoor’s BFlex stretch fabric delivers unrestricted movement.
