Share:

Outdoor Retailer will be hosting Outdoor Adventure X, a new adventure festival for consumers, at Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville, UT, this June. The consumer event will take place the weekend prior to the Outdoor Retailer Summer trade show held at the Salt Palace Convention Center, June 19-21, 2023. Registered Outdoor Retailer attendees will have free access to Outdoor Adventure X on Sunday, June 18, for an industry day.

Tickets for Outdoor Adventure X are on sale to the public now. More information is available here: https://www.outdooradventurex.com/tickets/

The announcement of this June’s OAX consumer event from OR comes in the wake of the announcement earlier this month that upstart outdoor industry event, The Big Gear Show, will host a trade+consumer show in June in Denver.

And the news about the summer events comes as Outdoor Retailer is set to host its first winter Snow Show back in Salt Lake City this January 9-12, after relocating from Denver. OR’s show this January will include an immersive, on-mountain industry day, Summit at Brighton, Jan. 9, 2023, the day before the OR Snow Show begins in Salt Lake City.

The two-day event, open to the public at Snowbasin June 17-18, will offer camping starting June 16. Outdoor Adventure X will feature hands-on outdoor product experiences, including climbing, cycling, hiking, overlanding, watersports, and more, plus workshops, gear demos, live music, food, and family fun. The nearby Pineview Reservoir will host on-water demos, and the Anderson Cove Campground will have overnight camping and glamping. Weber State University’s Outdoor Program will anchor much of the educational programming by guiding skills clinics across sports, including climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, paddleboarding, and yoga.
