Performance running brand Altra has launched the Mont Blanc BOA trail runner, the brand’s first shoe to feature a BOA Fit System for a secure, personalized fit. The $210 shoe also boasts Altra’s Balanced Cushioning platform and Footshape Toe Box, plush EGO MAX midsole foam, and a Vibram LiteBase outsole. Built to merge comfort with speed, the Mont Blanc BOA uses a PerformFit Wrap powered by BOA Fit System, which offers micro-adjustable, precision fit with customization in two distinct zones, giving runners a closer connection to the trail and enhanced stability on dynamic terrain. 

‍Rocky Brands is promising to align inventory levels with sales growth and adjust inventory purchasing strategies in the months ahead after reporting a 77 percent drop in quarterly profit to $920,000 from $3.9 million for the period ended June 30. Second quarter revenues were 23 percent higher year-over-year at $162.0 million versus $131.6 million, but period end inventories were up 101 percent to $287.8 million due to distribution and fulfillment challenges it faced in H2/21.
