Tanners Team Sports, which produces team and individual sports products, including baseball training equipment and accessories under the Rawlings and Easton brands, has been acquired by Smith’s Sporting Group. Together the two companies distribute more than 1000 products through specialty retailers and big-box stores, including Walmart, Amazon, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Academy Sports.

Tanners also makes sporting goods equipment under its Vulcan brand, a supplier of pickleball gear. Smith’s Sporting Group is a manufacturer of sharpeners, knives and tools designed and engineered for outdoor use, was founded in 1886.

Smith’s Consumer Products and Tanner’s Team Sports have collaborated on various sports-related projects and products out of their headquarters in the Hotsprings Mid-America Industrial Park in Garland County, AR.
