Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame Class of 2022 Nominations Now Being Accepted

The National Sporting Goods Association (NSGA) is currently accepting nominations for the Class of 2022 of the Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame. The nomination period lasts through February 19, 2021.

Nominees must have been involved in the industry for at least 20 years and made significant contributions to the industry, supported the industry, conducted business professionally, honestly and with integrity and have a good community standing.

The Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame is comprised of more than 170 manufacturers, retailers and dealers and industry influencers. For seven decades it has been a way to honor the best of the best who have significantly impacted the experience for anyone who participates in sports.

The most recent classes include Class of 2021 inductee Eric Bezanson, a prominent retailer in Canada, and Class of 2020 members Klaus Obermeyer, Robert Greenberg and Peter Capolino.

NSGA created the Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame in 1955 to honor sporting goods pioneers, innovators and leaders, while recognizing and encouraging continued excellence in the industry.
