Although the company has dropped its annual revenue guidance due to a difficult fourth quarter comparison, Rocky Brands experienced strong third quarter results with solid contributions from its key brands. Overall, Rocky reported a profit of $5.7 million as total revenues rose 17.5 percent to $147.5 million. Wholesale revenues rose 26 percent to $120.7 million as retail sales increased 7 percent to $23.4 million.

Durango brand sales in the third quarter were bolstered by contributions from its Rebel and Westward collections. Georgia Boot sales jumped despite pockets of excess inventory at retail. Rocky brand sales were flat despite strength in outdoor. Muck’s quarterly sales were sparked by fall bookings and the Xtratuf business was described as positive with shipments two times larger than in the year-ago period.
