Olympia Sports, which was recently acquired by sports retailer JackRabbit, is closing 76 stores. The athletic footwear and apparel chain will continue to operate its remaining 75 stores under the Olympia Sports’ banner. The 76 closing stores were not part of the acquisition.

In October, the chain selected SB360 Capital Partners LLC to conduct “store closing” sales in the 76 stores starting Nov. 1. Those sales, which involve discounts on $44 million in athletic footwear and apparel, are continuing.
