Consolidating its position in the baseball market, Marucci Sports recently acquired Baum Enterprises, the manufacturer of composite wood bats. The acquisition expands Marucci’s product line and strengthen its position in diamond sports by increasing its technological capabilities while enhancing its wood bat presence.

Founded in 1993, Baum Bat produces composite wood bats, including the first wood composite baseball bat approved for wood bat play from high school to the lower levels of pro baseball.

Baum Bat’s leadership team, including president and owner, Ben Boulware, will continue to lead the brand as part of Marucci.
