The new Fall “Vitality” Collection from Alterre expands on the brand’s collection of interchangeable shoe bases and straps and introduces new silhouettes to the line. 

Designed with “interchangeability in mind,” Alterre’s modular footwear has a patent pending pin discreetly hidden at the arch of the shoe, allowing the wearer to change the strap “in a literal snap” to create a whole new look. 

The brand’s new Ballet Pump (pictured) is a classic style with a modern chunky heel, padded insoles, and comfortable incline. Also new is the Chelsea Boot, featuring a low heel, cushioned midsole, and elongated toe for seasonless comfort. The Oakley strap can be added on for a Western-style twist.  

In addition to the customization aspect of the interchangeable straps, Alterre’s shoes feature a cushioned foam midsole for comfort. And the shoes are made by a fair-trade factory partner and produced with sustainable materials such as traceable leather and deadstock fabrics. The Fall Collection retails for $250-$345, with straps priced from $45-$135.
