The Running Event has cancelled its 2020 edition, set to be held in Austin Dec. 1-3. The annual running specialty conference and trade show will next be held Nov. 30-Dec. 2, 2021. TRE show management said in an emailed release that they were “moving forward with plans for a Spring 2021 event” that would allow for conducting business “in a safe and productive way.” No further details were shared.

Boot Barn has promoted CFO Greg Hackman to EVP/Chief Operating Officer. He joined the 265-door retailer in 2015.

Boston-based recovery brand Oofos has received the American Pediatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance across its line of recovery sandals, slides and shoes. The APMA Seal of Acceptance is awarded to shoes, socks, insoles, materials and equipment found to be beneficial to foot health.  “This Seal of Acceptance by the APMA provides expert validation that our shoes make a difference in the health and wellbeing of our customers day in and day out,” Steve Gallo, President of Oofos, said in a release.

GeoAwareness pairs a customer’s real-time location and order to provide an accurate time of arrival, enabling businesses to prioritize and prepare orders and minimize customer wait times.
