In The News: Baffin, Outdoor Retailer, Outdoor Market Alliance

Baffin is expanding its Made in Canada collection with the introduction of Jasper, a new women’s boot designed to offer durability, style and comfort, inspired by Baffin’s Canadian heritage. Available in three different colorways, Jasper features a white faux fur collar for added warmth and comfort. The boots also feature Baffin’s Fixed-Fit multi-layer inner boot system for warmth, comfort and breathability in a broad range of temperatures.

“We are excited to introduce Jasper to our growing line of Made in Canada products. Baffin’s heritage and our pride in being a Canadian company is of the utmost importance to us. We are thrilled to honor that heritage not only in our expanding line of domestic manufacturing, but also in our new designs that pay homage to the climate and styles of the North,” says Mark Hubner, Senior Vice President, Commercial at Baffin.

The Outdoor Retailer trade show’s upcoming January Snow Show will include an immersive on-mountain winter experience and industry day the day before the trade show begins. The Summit by Outdoor Retailer will take place on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Brighton Resort and Solitude Nordic & Snowshoe Center, and feature professionally curated winter sports activities and guided classes for retail buyers and media. The Outdoor Retailer Snow Show takes place January 10-12 at Salt Lake City’s Salt Palace Convention Center.

Outdoor and snow sports brands can get involved through hands-on product demos and gear testing via scheduled activities, as well as at a brand village open to Outdoor Retailer attendees and the public. Additionally, all registered Outdoor Retailer attendees will have access to lift ticket discounts for full mountain access, and an evening Media Preview event will give journalists early access to the latest gear.
