Altra announced a partnership with Still I Run, a running community and non-profit with a mission to promote the benefits of running for mental health, defeat the stigma through running, and create a safe community for mental health running warriors. The partnership kicked off with a Giving Tuesday initiative and will also include a New Year’s Day Virtual 5K.

Altra pledged to donate $1 for every pair of shoes sold on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 1, up to $5,000, to help support Still I Run’s Starting Line Scholarship. On Dec. 3, Altra and Still I Run will open registration for the New Year’s Day virtual 5K.


The World Retail Forum surveyed 1,000 retail executives during the week of November 16th asking questions about the impact of COVID-19 and their view of the future of retail and the impact of the stay-at-home economy on the retail market. Results include: 50 percent of retailers are optimistic about 2021; 44 percent are uncertain about retail sales in 2021 and 6 percent of retailers were pessimistic. Additionally, 67 percent of retailers report that they are prepared for more COVID-19 disruption, with 27 percent uncertain and 6 percent reporting they are not prepared.
