Altra has launched a special version of its Paradigm 7 shoe in collaboration with two-time Olympian Kara Goucher, with five dollars from every pair sold of the limited edition colorway benefitting the Bachmann-Strauss Fellowship in Dystonia Research, a training program through The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) which specializes in growing the global base of researchers studying the movement disorder dystonia. The Paradigm 7 x Kara Goucher Hope colorway, $170, is available for purchase on the brand’s website and at select retailers.  

Cat Footwear, in partnership with Caterpillar Inc.’s ThinkBIG program, will celebrate students during this back-to-school season that are taking the next steps in a construction career. (The ThinkBIG program is a Caterpillar-specific instructional program that pays students while they train to become a technician.) According to the National Student Clearinghouse, enrollment in construction trade courses have increased by 19.3% from 2021-2022. The Cat campaign will share the stories of three students from three community colleges, in collaboration with a sponsoring Cat dealer, sharing construction tips, back-to-construction school checklists, and inspiration for other students on this journey. In addition, Cat Footwear will donate 500 pairs of shoes to students in the ThinkBIG program, host a giveaway for $300 to be used on CatFootwear.com and offer a student and teacher promotion during this campaign.
