Brazilian Footwear Showcase Launched on JOOR Passport


The Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (Abicalcados) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) have teamed up to showcase a range of Brazilian footwear brands on digital wholesale platform, JOOR.

For the next six months, 13 Brazilian footwear brands—Schutz, Petite Jolie, Pegada, Piccadilly, Byara, Paula Torres, Ammabile, Smidt Shoes, Cecconello, Vizzano, Anatomic Shoes, Stephanie Classic and Luiza Barcelos—will be highlighted in the virtual showcase. was created I 2015 and features over 200 brands from the South American nation. Each of the brands can join the project with JOOR independently, participating in both platforms. JOOR puts the entire buying process online to make wholesale smoother and smarter for both brands and retailers. It unlocks data between transacting parties, creating a single collaborative ecosystem so partners can easily access vital metrics that drive the business in real time. JOOR connects over 12,500 brands with 300,000 retailers across 144 countries and handles over $1.5 billion in wholesales transactions every month.

Currently, the Brazilian website enables business connections, without sales on the platform. With the new partnership, is taking another step to further enhance the business of Brazilian footwear brands in the market. JOOR participants will be able to connect with international buyers; actively prospect buyers within the platform and have the means to sell directly to customers.
