Making quite a sustainable statement as the 2021-22 National Hockey League season approaches, Adidas recently unveiled its ADIZERO Primegreen jerseys as the authentic jersey of the NHL made with recycled materials, The ADIZERO Primegreen Authentic NHL jerseys, being worn by all 32 NHL teams, are made with Adidas Primegreen, a collection of high-performance materials containing a minimum of 50 percent recycled content.

It will be the first time that all 32 NHL teams will take the ice wearing team jerseys made from recycled materials.

"We know that plastic waste is a mounting problem and we need to innovate the ways in which we produce our products," explains Dan Near, senior director of Adidas Hockey. "The new ADIZERO Primegreen NHL jerseys are an incredible example of how we're bringing that idea to life."

"For more than a decade, the NHL has remained steadfast in its commitment to reduce our environmental impact across different facets of our business," adds Brian Jennings, NHL chief branding officer and senior executive VP. "We are proud to have a partner in Adidas who is implementing forward-thinking innovation that addresses some of the world's pressing ecological challenges and is a fellow steward in the preservation of the game."

Each team jersey will maintain its classic stripping and logo, while boasting dimensional embroidery that draws attention to their sustainable materials, along with a two-layer twill that underscores the product's authenticity.
