PREFACE may be small in size but makes a big statement on the importance of small batch, locally manufactured, responsibly-sourced and sustainably-driven textile development. The Fall 24 show featured a select group of fabric and trim suppliers that reflect this eco-outlook, an ethos that hails from PREFACE founder, Betsy Fanjola, a talented designer, with studios in NYC and LA, whose level of talent is evident in the beautiful aesthetic of PREFACE, that transformed a humdrum space in a midtown office building into something special.
