CamelBak x Lifestraw Collaboration

Two of the hydration category’s leading brands have teamed up to develop the Eddy+ filtered by Lifestraw collection. It includes several integrated water bottles, reservoirs and stand-alone filters. It features two stages of filtration. First, the Hollow Fiber Filter removes bacteria, parasites, and microplastics. Next, the Ion Exchange Filter reduces lead, taste and odor, chlorine, and other chemicals.  MSRP $45-$70 (various bottle options).


BOCO Gear Technical Camp Hat

For run and trail, this hat is loaded with technical details. The lightweight performance version of the brand’s cotton camp hat features a wicking internal sweatband, sublimated design, and laser-cut side panels. It’s also hand washable. The BOCO Gear team says it also intends to introduce a full range of recycled headwear options in 2022. MSRP $29.95.

GU Energy Chews

Packing energy-dense calories in a portable packet, each 90-calorie GU Energy Chew serving contains quick energy from carbohydrates and amino acids to decrease muscle fatigue, and electrolytes to replace what’s lost through sweat. The brand’s new insoles for 2022 are focused on relieving and preventing pain through support, alignment, and impact control. Offering semi-rigid arch support and PORON cushioning, insoles in the Thin line will retain a 95 percent compression set, absorbing the pressure and impact. A narrower and thinner design delivers support and cushioning while also fitting in more minimal running shoe options. Launching at The Running Event Nov. 30-Dec. 2, the Pulse Thin will be available more widely in January. MSRP: $49.95.
