Four years after filing for an IPO, luxury outerwear brand Canada Goose is getting into the footwear business next month with two styles. The first, the Snow Mantra Boot, is tied to the brand’s pinnacle Snow Mantra Parka. The waterproof boot features a removable insulated lining. The second style is the Journey Boot, crafted in Italy and featuring a squared-off toe and a soft, flexible upper of three pieces.

Both styles will be available Nov. 12th in North America in Canada Goose stores, select retail partners and on the brand’s website. The boots will come at luxury prices — $750 for the Journey hiker boot and $1,295 for the Snow Mantra boot, per a recent article in Forbes.

Canada Goose is launching its footwear line with a “Live in the Open” marketing campaign featuring stories from Romeo Beckham, as well as Indigenous artist and activist Sarain Fox and Indigenous leader and former NHL player, Jordin Tootoo. The campaign aims to celebrate what makes each of these personalities a “Force of Nature” through the brand's Live in the Open promise, which “invites people to express themselves freely without judgement.”

"The launch of Canada Goose Footwear is one of the most significant milestones in our more than six-decade history. We are bringing a completely new perspective to the category, balancing performance and luxury – which is the ultimate expression of our lifestyle brand," says Dani Reiss, president & CEO, Canada Goose.
