BSN Enters Two Partnerships


As 2023 draws to a close BSN Sports remains active with two recently announced new partnerships.

• First, although it’s not a sport for which team dealers sell a lot of equipment and uniforms, BSN Sports recently signed its first partnership with USA Water Polo. As part of the deal, BSN Sports will outfit the USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program and USAWP National Team programs with custom apparel.

BSN Sports will outfit men’s and women’s USA Water Polo teams with various apparel as they prepare to take the world stage next summer. The women’s team will compete for a fourth consecutive gold medal in Paris, while the USA men’s team looks to build off a bronze medal performance at the World Aquatics World Cup earlier this year.

“Water polo has always held a special place in my heart. I personally played the sport growing up and have had a front-row seat watching their world domination successes at international competitions throughout the years, and I am now excited to contribute to their successes professionally,” says Jessica Hardy Meichtry, USA Olympic swimming gold medalist and category manager for aquatic sports at BSN Sports. “I believe that the power of sport can transform lives and this collaboration between USA Water Polo and BSN Sports is a testament to that belief.”

• More recently, Montana’s Frontier Conference signed a five-year deal with Nike and BSN Sports to be its official conference apparel and equipment provider. Along with outfitting the conference staff in Nike apparel, BSN will provide promotional material for Frontier Conference events and championships.

“It’s another great day for the Frontier Conference with the announcement of this strategic partnership with BSN Sports and Nike. The conference office joins member schools Carroll College and Rocky Mountain College in a similar venture to ensure athletic apparel and equipment sales are driven by this relationship,” league commissioner Scott Crawford stated in a statement.

“I am thrilled we now have access to a national distributor the caliber of BSN Sports and the top athletic brand in Nike. I am counting on this partnership to have a positive impact on cost containment, student-athlete recruitment and retention and greater brand awareness of the Frontier Conference.”
